Over 218 dogs have been rescued from Kipnuk, Kwig, Napakiak, Nightmute, and Tuntutuliak.
After a massive effort from many Alaskans, the vast majority of evacuated dogs have been reunited with their families or have been claimed and are living in safe, long-term foster care.
This page is dedicated to the heroic work of Jacqui Lang and all the dog wranglers, pilots, National Guardsmen, Public Service Officers, airlines, rescues, volunteers, shelters, Alaska Native communities, Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and the Office of the State Veterinarian.
Together you made this epic rescue and reunification possible.🐾
